GPT is part of The Briggs Equipment Group, a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland. Due to growth within our Galway depot, we currently have a new opportunity for a Vehicle Mechanic to join our team.

In this role you will be:

• Servicing, repairing, and maintaining a range of vehicles, including commercial vehicles.
• Working closely with the service supervisor and all departments to maintain an efficient process.
• Diagnosing specific fault issues and actioning appropriately.
• Maintaining a clean and orderly working area including common areas.
• Adhering to all health and safety guidelines.

  What will help you to excel in this role:

• Previous experience within a similar role
• Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical principals
• The ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Good communication skills
